Real protection against thermal scope/vision, which can be worn as a poncho on the body, stretched as a screen in front, or as a roof on top.
 
It is not penetrated by thermal visions from any working distance (checked with both thermal imaging scopes and various thermal visions). There are several nuances regarding the thickness of the aluminum vapor barrier. Depending on the needs, we determine whether to add 1 more layer inside (the so-called "pie" effect). For snipers, for whom a vapor barrier density of 80 is enough at a distance of 200 meters and further, the most important thing for them is quieter and lighter. To cover yourself in the trenches, an even thinner ~60 density is enough because a person will not press the poncho to the body and there will be air movement. But for guards, miners, drone operators, and medics, we add shoulder pads made of paralon to ensure air movement, and we put a vapor barrier with a density of ~110. It is ideal for masking at a distance of 100m. For scouts, we need to make an individual consensus. If the task is to run 20-30 km back and forth unnoticed, then weight becomes critical, we do 1.2-1.5 kg. And if the distances are small and perfect masking is needed - add 1 more layer of porous polyethylene in the middle and the product becomes heavier and bulkier, 3-4 kg is obtained.
 
WARNING! This is not an "invisibility cloak", namely protection from thermal scopes/visions that catch temperature waves. Modern thermal scopes/visions have 4 modes and can simultaneously impose both PNV and thermal waves on the screen. Then everything, including trees and stones, is visible on the screen. Therefore, task number 1 is to blur the silhouette of the human body. And this poncho copes with this task as well. Do not expect that the silhouette of the poncho will not be visible at all. First of all, there will be no thermal glow, and the silhouette of the body should be hidden in the landscape.
